StarHub To Air Eight Barclays Premier League Matches ‘Live’ Simultaneously This Sunday For The First Time Ever!

Singapore, 8 May 2008 – StarHub announced today that it will air Barclays Premier League matches ‘live’ on eight different channels simultaneously for the first time ever on 11 May 2008!
With Chelsea and Manchester United neck-to-neck in the closest title race in ten years, and Fulham, Reading and Birmingham separated by a single point in the fight to avoid relegation, soccer fans will be able to fully enjoy a thrilling finale to the 2007/2008 Barclays Premier League season. As ten Premier League matches kick off at 10pm on Sunday, StarHub will air eight matches ‘live’ at 10pm, and two matches delayed at 1am and 3am.

The match between Chelsea and Bolton Wanderers will be made available on StarHub’s Preview Channel, Channel 01, to all StarHub's cable TV subscribers. The preview and review studio shows – "Kick Off" and "Final Whistle", will also be telecast on Preview Channel.
The matches that will be aired ‘live’ at 10pm this Sunday on the respective channels include:
1. Chelsea vs Bolton Wanderers on StarHub’s Preview Channel, Channel 01, available to all cable TV subscribers
2. Wigan Athletic vs Manchester United on Football Channel (StarHub Channel 27) and in HD on HD SHOWCASE (StarHub Channel 303)
3. Birmingham City vs Blackburn Rovers on SuperSports (StarHub Channel 22)
4. Derby County vs Reading on SuperSports Plus (StarHub Channel 21)
5. Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool on ESPN (StarHub Channel 23)
6. Sunderland vs Arsenal on STAR Sports (StarHub Channel 24)
7. Everton vs Newcastle United on StarHub Channel 118 (accessible on Sunday night only, and made available to Sports Group customers with a HubStation, HD or digital set-top box)
8. Portsmouth vs Fulham on StarHub Channel 119 (accessible on Sunday night only, and made available to Sports Group customers with a HubStation, HD or digital set-top box)
Delayed:
9. West Ham United vs Aston Villa on Football Channel (StarHub Channel 27) at 1am
10. Middlesbrough vs Manchester City on Football Channel (StarHub Channel 27) at 3am
